DRAFT - 2023 Chautauqua County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan - DRAFT

The Chautauqua County Hazard Mitigation Plan – 2023 Update identifies and evaluates risks and vulnerabilities associated with natural hazard events such as flooding, severe storms, and drought. This plan aims to reduce the loss of life and property by minimizing the impact of these events. The hazard mitigation planning process leads to the development of short- and long-term strategies to reduce and manage risk. Strategies identified in an updated hazard mitigation plan may be eligible for grant funding for implementation.
